Dan Ashley is a well-known Professional American journalist currently serving as an anchor at ABC7 (KGO-TV) in San Francisco Bay Area News.
Ashley joined ABC7 in 1995 as the weekday 5:00 p.m. news anchor and investigative reporter. Later, in 1996 he replaced Richard Brown on the 6 & 11 pm news broadcasts. While working at ABC7 news he interviewed President Barack Obama in February 2013 1-on-1.
He is said to be the longest-serving main male news anchor in the history of ABC7 (KGO-TV) based in San Francisco. When, Hurricane Hugo struck Charleston, SC in 1989.
